Barbara Burry was born in London and resident in South Africa from 1952. She studied at the Brighton School of art in England under Professor Alfred Krenz. Burry was a member of the SAAA and the Somerset West Art Group. A painter of landscapes, still lives and figures, working in oils and watercolour.
