Born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1945 and now living in Haslemere, Surry, UK, Christine Suzman works mainly in glazed ceramics but also sculpts and casts in bronze and resin. Her wildlife sculptures have a realistic and lifelike quality.

From 1969-74 Suzman studied ceramics under Val and John Edwards in South Africa. She has also done a number of illustrations for various books and magazines.

She has exhibited widely in South Africa, where she lived for many years, and more recently, in Surrey, Sussex and London.
